Step straight into Happinest. This bit of heaven needs no staircase. Yet the other end of the cabin is high off the ground, in the canopies. Magic? Undoubtedly, LOL. Drop your bag on the floor and sit on the deck in secluded peace. Once again…those views. Feel your cares melt away. Sleep deeply, cooled by the sea breeze.

The treehouse can accommodate two people. The main sleeping space consists of a single room with a queen-sized bed and a deck with space for seating or lounging on the large floor cushions. The entire deck and cabin are fully screened, so there are no annoying bugs to swat. There is no air conditioning, the cabin has great cross ventilation as there are openings on all four facades. The sea breeze cools the cabin at night in summer.
Happinest is fully insulated with double glazed doors and windows. We provide an electric fan or an electric heater according to the seasons, just in case.
Guest access:
Guests get the whole treehouse. The underside is a shaded and breezy area with a kitchenette, table and chairs for two. The kitchenette has a small fridge, electric cooktop, toaster, coffeemaker and sink. It is equipped with all the basic utensils for preparing breakfast and simple meals.
The bathroom is a separate, small building along a private path, 20 steps from the cabin, lit by outdoor lamps. The adjacent outdoor shower has hot water and a live bamboo privacy screen. There is also an auxiliary shower right on the deck of the treehouse. We provide fluffy bathrobes for our guests.
Parking is on the road next to the property. There are private steps and a path leading to the treehouse, running behind our outdoor kitchen.
The swimming platform is a short walk along our wild and wonderful garden. Here you may run into your hosts every now and then, otherwise it is reserved for your private use.
Other properties on our bay are holiday rentals. The bay is large enough not to feel overcrowded. Our swimming platform is small but private and separate from the beach where the other houses are. They are not visible from the treehouse as it looks outwards towards the sea.
Other things to note:
The seaside village of Milina where you can find all amenities is just 5km away. The main residence and terraces are 30m away and barely visible through the trees. Expect to be welcomed by our three friendly dogs and four playful cats who live freely on the property. Animal lovers can get free pet therapy if they wish 🙂
